A couple weeks ago, my friends and I were able to get free tickets to an NHL hockey game for the Columbus Blue Jackets. The game was definitely an experience. I am not one who usually watches, participates, or has anything to do with sports, but I found hockey to be riveting and so fun! The Blue Jackets ended up winning and after grabbing a bite to eat afterwards, I was so happy I decided to go enjoy fun, food, and friends on a random Wednesday night!

Après New Year's Resolutions ❤ 2014

Good afternoon, bloggies!  I do have to first apologise for the months without a blogpost and, to be quite honest, I was just excessively busy and allowed for my blog to take a hit for that.  Today, though, I found it rather apropos for me to get back in the swing of things with a rather late New Year's Resolutions post.  So here we go!

1. Film and upload at least once a week.  As many of you may know, I dove into the beauty and fashion realm of the Internet with a YouTube channel entitled "VeggieChick18" but often it has been neglected in my busy life.  I vow, this year, to break this horrid habit and I have done very well thus far! Check out my channel here: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCg9-I4lgwWZEPmnASR8NWdw

2. Blog more.  This is less specific, yet equally important and you all basically get the gist of this one...

3. Be a better dog owner.  It may be weird, but as long as I can remember, I have been afraid of dogs. For Christmas 2012, our entire family got a chow-border collie mix, making it the first and only dog we have ever owned.  I spent basically all of 2013 fearing and ignoring our puppy because I didn't know how to own a canine (I am a HUGE cat person).  This year I want to change.  I want to love my dog, Jasmine, and treat her with all the same attention as I give my two kitties.

4. Say "I love you more".  Probably cliché, but I think everyone should try to spread around love a little bit more.  I truly believe that happiness is contagious and by showing people you care, you feel happier in your own life.

5. Get fit. Now you can't get more basic than wanting to loose some weight in the new year.  I have always tried to get healthier and fitter but, like many others, failed by February.  I decided that enough was enough and I will actually be a happy, healthy person this year, whether or not I end up looking like a Victoria's Secret Angel...

So, these are my basic five New Year's Resolutions for 2014.  I have maybe three or so minor ones that are a bit more personal, but I decided to just go with these on here! At the end of 2014, I will do a blog post about how well I did with all of my resolutions! Thanks for sticking with me thus far and happy blogging throughout the new(ish) year!
